1 cup hot water
1 package yeast
1 Tablespoon honey
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups flour
Directions:
-Preheat oven to 475*
-Put 1/4 cup water and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes.
-Add rest of water, honey, salt, and 2 cups of flour. Mix well (*I use my hands for this part)
-Add last cup of flour a little bit at a time until sides of bowl are clean and dough is slightly sticky.
-Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled. This takes about 30 minutes. (*If you place the bowl on top of the dryer and turn it on, the warmth will help it rise faster)
-Spread some flour out on the counter and roll out your dough. You can make 1 big pizza or several small ones.
-Put on pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
-Bake for 10-15 minutes
*My husband and my kids like just cheese, but I love to try lots of different combinations. Some of my favorites are:
-Pepperoni, tomatoes, and jalapenos
-Pepperoni, mushrooms, and red onion
-tomatoes and onions
-BBQ chicken (bbq sauce, cheese, red onion, chicken, and cilantro)
-tomatoes and basil.
This pizza is so easy and so good. My family loves it and it's a lot cheaper than calling Dominos!
Enjoy! Kaitlyn
