Tacos

These aren't your ordinary tacos. I used to just open up a packet of taco seasoning and add that to my ground beef, but not anymore. Once I tried this seasoning, I never looked back. This is how my mother in-law makes tacos and they are really good. We love tacos at our house and we eat them a lot. We set up a little taco bar and let the kids make their own, they love it and think it's so much fun.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons minced onion (instant is ok)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. corn starch
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup of water

Directions:
-Mix all ingredients except ground beef and water in a bowl and set aside
-Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain fat once it's cooked
-Add water and bowl of seasoning to skillet
-Simmer about 10 minutes, stir often
-Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, cilantro, sour cream, or any toppings you like.
